Vice Chair, Board of Directors
William “Bill” Daniel is the vice chair of the Memorial
University Medical Center board of directors. He is also vice president
and general counsel of Vaden Automotive Group, which includes six
new vehicle dealerships and related business in Savannah and Brunswick.
The group employs approximately 400 people in Coastal Georgia. Daniel
has been with Vaden Automotive Group since 1986.
Daniel received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University in 1975. He then attended the University of Georgia School of Law and earned his J.D. in 1978.
Daniel is a member of the board of directors of the Memorial Health
Foundation and the Georgia Automobile Dealers Association. He is
the chairman of the Chatham County Recreation Authority and a member
of the Savannah advisory board of Wachovia Bank. In addition, Daniel
is a member of the board of directors of the Alumni Association
of Oxford College of Emory University and serves on the Parents
Council of Emory University.
