President and CEO, SunTrust Bank, Savannah
Kay A. Ford joined Memorial University Medical Center’s Board of Directors in 2008.
She is a native of Savannah and has been with SunTrust Bank, Savannah, for more than 30 years. Ford held several senior level positions within the bank’s retail banking and private wealth management divisions before becoming senior vice president and wealth services manager. In 2007, she was named president and CEO of SunTrust, Savannah.
Ford has served on the boards of directors of the United Way, the Memorial Health Foundation, the Savannah Fund for Excellence in Education, and St. Mary’s Home. She is a graduate of the 1990 class of Leadership Savannah, and the 1997 class of Leadership Georgia.
