Dariush
H. Heidary, M.D., joined Memorial Health University Physicians -- CVT Surgery in 1977 after finishing his cardiothoracic surgery training. He
attended Shiraz University Medical School in Iran before completing his
residencies at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Albert Einstein Medical Center
in Philadelphia, and Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Heidary is
board certified in both general and thoracic surgery. In addition, he is a
member of both the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and Southern Thoracic Surgical
Association and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Chest
Physicians. |
Thomas J. Yeh,, M.D., started this practice in 1967. He came to Savannah from the Medical College of Georgia to
serve as the director of education in the surgery department at Memorial
University Medical Center. As one of the first cardiothoracic surgeons in southeast
Georgia, Dr. Yeh has played a very instrumental part in the training of many
other cardiothoracic surgeons. After completing medical school at National
Taiwan University, he finished his residencies at Saint Benedict's Hospital in
Utah, Louisville General Hospital, Royal/Edward Chest Hospital in Montreal, and
Talmadge Memorial Hospital in Augusta. Dr. Yeh is board certified in both
general and thoracic surgery. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians. |
