Chairman, Anderson Capital Corporation

Curtis Anderson joined the board of directors in March 2001 and served as chairman for three years. He founded Anderson Capital Corporation, a privately held venture capital company, in 1986. In addition to his work at Anderson Capital Corporation, Anderson served as president and chief operating officer for the Kuhlman Corporation in Savannah from 1994 to 1999.

Prior to that, Anderson spent 19 years in the corporate and investment banking field. Anderson earned his bachelor's degree and his MBA from the University of Washington. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1965. He is a trustee for the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah, and is on the advisory board for Georgia Southern University's Graduate School of Business in Statesboro.
