President and CEO, Hussey, Gay, Bell, & DeYoung
Gus H. Bell serves as president and CEO of Hussey, Gay, Bell & DeYoung, The Bell Companies, an architectural and engineering firm with offices in Georgia and South Carolina. The firm represents 35 municipalities and public service districts. They oversee projects in 27 states and 17 countries.
Bell earned a bachelor's degree at The Citadel and attended graduate
school at the University of Kentucky. In addition to serving on
the Memorial University Medical Center board of directors, he sits
on the Savannah Electric and Power Company Board, the Georgia State
Chamber of Commerce Board, and the SunTrust Bank of Savannah Board
and Executive Committee. Bell's volunteer experience includes the
State Senate Committee for Indigent Care, and American-Saudi Business
Roundtable, and the Savannah Economic Development Authority Advisory
Board.
