William J. Degenhart, M.D. William J. Degenhart, M.D., has been a member of the board of directors
since 2005. He is an ophthalmologist and serves as medical director
of the Georgia Eye Institute at Memorial University Medical Center.
Dr. Degenhart graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina
in Columbia. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina.
After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Degenhart completed an internship
in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina
before going on to do his residency training in ophthalmology at
Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
