Karen B. Pannell
Chairwoman, Board of Directors

Karen B. Pannell joined the board of directors in March 2001 and became chair in 2007. She is the past president of Savannah Heritage, Inc. Pannell has also worked as a tour guide for the Historic Savannah Foundation. She was executive director of the Chatham-Savannah Voluntary Action Center, and she served as a legislative assistant for Georgia Electric Membership Corporation in Atlanta.

Pannell is an active member of many community organizations. She is chairman of the Espy House Committee of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church. She also serves as vice president of the board of directors of Second Harvest Food Bank. She's a member of the Telfair Museum of Art board of trustees, and a member of the Louisa Porter Foundation board of trustees.
