Memorial University Medical Center's 24-hour call center, NurseOne, provides telephone nurse triage, physician referral, class registration, and recorded health information on more than 1,000 medical topics. The call center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. NurseOne can be

When You Call
- An experienced registered nurse answers your call and asks a series of questions.
- Your health information is quickly loaded into a database that determines the best course of
action based on nationally approved guidelines.
- Your nurse will direct you to the appropriate level of care when necessary, or tell you how to
self-treat the condition at home.
- If you're referred to a physician's office, NurseOne will fax your medical notes and information to the physician or facility.
