These scores are based on responses from a sample of people admitted to Memorial University Medical Center for any length of time between April and June 2008. Patients are asked to rate the categories below using a scale of "very poor" to "very good." Each response receives a point value and we determine a mean score based on those points:
Very Poor = 0
Poor= 25
Fair = 50
Good = 75
Very Good = 100
