Presenting Realistic Ideas to Develop Empowerment (PRIDE) Support Group
This is a group for parents that have children with bleeding disorders. Each month, participants and their families meet for an educational session or a fun event.

Head and Neck Cancer Support Group
This family support group is for people with cancers of the head and neck and their caregivers. Each meeting includes a discussion with cancer treatment experts, followed by a group discussion. The group meets every other month on the third Wednesday of the month. There is no charge to attend.

Healing Through Art
People whose lives have been touched by cancer are invited to a session of creativity and art. Learn how to express your feelings in a positive and creative way. This group meets monthly. There is no charge to attend.

Journey Through Journaling: Voices from Within
People whose lives have been touched by cancer are invited to join this unique support group. Each month, the group delves into the creative expression of cancer experiences through journaling and craft activities. It is free and open to all who have had cancer and their loved ones.

Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Support Group
This education and support group is for people with blood-related cancers and their loved ones. Every month, the group focuses on a topic related to blood diseases and improving quality of life. The group meets at the Summit Cancer Care offices in the Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center.

Pancreatic Cancer Support Group
People with pancreatic cancer and their loved ones are invited to attend this monthly support session. The group meets the last Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. in the Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center.

Pediatric Oncology Patient and Parent Support (POPPS!) Group
This group is for children with cancer and their parents and caregivers. The group meets in the Backus Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic.

The bariatrics program at Memorial University Medical Center holds regular support group meetings for people who have undergone or are considering gastric bypass or gastric band surgery.

This quarterly meeting is for people who wear ICD devices or pacemakers. Guest speakers provide information and answer questions. The group meets in the Memorial University Medical Center Heart & Vascular Institute.

The Twins Club is a non-profit organization that provides support, education, and the opportunity to meet other parents with multiples. New members are welcome, and moms are encouraged to join while they are still pregnant to better prepare for their twins (or more).
