Biography
Himangshu Bose, Ph.D., leads the protein targeting group in our women’s breast cancer program. He is a full professor of biochemistry at Mercer University School of Medicine and a member of the Anderson Cancer Institute. Bose previously served as assistant professor
in the Department of Physiology and Functional Genomics at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He was also a pediatric endocrine fellow at the University of California San Francisco where he was supported by an independent training grant from the National Institutes of Health. Bose was trained in the genetics of different endocrine
diseases and later moved on to cancer and cardiovascular research. He is supported by federal
grants, private foundations, and philanthropic money. Bose's research is well cited and is referenced in all current editions of biochemistry and endocrinology textbooks.
