  Fragment Analysis

Fragment Analysis Genomics Core Facility ACI Savannah, GA The versatility of the 3130xl fluorescence detection system and the GeneMapper software suite allows our laboratory to offer various types of fragment analysis:

  • Basic sizing/peak detection
  • Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphisms (AFLP®) Analysis
  • Loss of heterozygosity and microsatellite analysis
  • SNP detection, confirmation, analysis (SNaPshot® , SNPlex™ Software)

Currently, we have optimized the Promega MSI Analysis System and supplement this microsatelite instability assay with published markers to include the dinucleotide repeats of the Bethesda panel. In total, the analysis is comprised of five mononucleotide markers, three dinulceotide markers, and two pentanucleotide markers for sample assurance.

Please contact us about specific quantity and quality requirements for fragment analysis projects.
