  Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson

Curtis and Elizabeth AndersonCurtis Anderson is a retired investment banker who lives in Savannah with his wife Elizabeth (Libba). Anderson served in the U.S. Navy and then spent 19 years in the corporate and investment banking field. In 1986, he founded Anderson Capital Corporation, a privately held venture capital company. In addition to his work at Anderson Capital Corporation, Anderson served as president and chief operating officer for the Kuhlman Corporation in Savannah from 1994 to 1999.

Like many people, the Andersons were impacted by cancer. They watched close friends leave the Savannah area to find the latest cancer treatments. Together, they vowed to do whatever they could to bring a world-class cancer treatment center to Savannah. They worked with Memorial University Medical Center to develop the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute.

Curtis and Libba continue to advocate and raise funds for cancer treatment and research programs. They have helped to recruit some of the finest doctors and scientists to the region. The team at Memorial University Medical Center feels extremely blessed and proud to be associated with the Andersons, and we cannot thank them enough for their kindness.
