The Anderson Cancer Institute offers second opinion services
for adult and pediatric cancer patients. Anybody diagnosed with
cancer has a right to get a second opinion to ensure an accurate
diagnosis and the best possible treatment. Our second opinion services
include:

- Face-to-face consultation
- Case review by medical and surgical oncologists, radiation
oncologists, and pathologists
- Treatment recommendations
- Referral process available for additional support services
such as dietitian and social worker
- Findings given to patient and his/her physician (if the patient
wants the physician to see it)

Our second opinion service is covered by most insurance carriers.
Precertification assistance is available.
