Memorial Health Bariatrics is located on the campus of Memorial University Medical Center. We are at 4700 Waters Avenue, on the second floor of the Georgia Ear Building.

Office Hours

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Closed daily from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch.

Walk-ins for vitamins and weight checks are accepted Tuesday and Friday mornings between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Appointments are encouraged for B-12 injections.

Insurance Information

Memorial Health Bariatrics participates with most major insurance carriers. Not all carriers cover bariatric surgery, so we will need to confirm coverage with your carrier.

Our Facilities and Services

Our program has been designated a bariatric surgery Center of Excellence by the Surgical Rview Corporation and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. This means we meet the rigorous standards set forth by this respected organization.

We perform the adjustable gastric band and the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in world class surgical suites at Memorial University Medical Center. We have access to state-of-the-art operating rooms that include fully integrated PC based technology for minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgical procedures.
