Helping Children
The Memorial Health Foundation supports the George and Marie Backus Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center – the only children’s hospital in southeast Georgia.
Backus Children’s Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient services to children from birth through age 18. It is the home of the region’s only Level III neonatal intensive care nursery -- a life-saving facility for critically ill or premature newborns. Backus Children’s Hospital offers cancer treatment for children of all ages, pediatric surgery, special services for children with disabilities, and much more. By making a gift to Backus Children’s Hospital, you can help us protect the health and well-being of children throughout the region.
