    Free Head, Neck, Oral Cancer Screening

    Free Head, Neck, Oral Cancer Screening
    The Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center is offering free screening for head, neck, and oral cancers on Thursday, April 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The screening is for men and women aged 18 and older. The non-invasive screening only takes 15 minutes, but appointments are required. Space is limited, call 912-350-9673.

    Throughout October, the Power of Pink initiative will take place at Tanger Outlets. Shoppers can purchase a Powerful Pink Card for $5 and receive a 25-percent discount off a single item at participating Tanger Outlets stores. You can use the card as many times as you'd like throughout the month of October. Ninety-five percent of the proceeds from the sale of the cards will benefit the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute's breast cancer services. The remaining 5 percent goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
