Genomics Core Facility

labThe Genomics Core Facility at the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute (ACI)* at Memorial Health University Medical Center offers the latest Affymetrix GeneChip® technology for running micorarray experiments and analyses. We are capable of preparing and processing 3’ Gene Expression, 500K Genotyping (SNPs), Exon/Gene, and Tiling arrays, with additional capabilities still to come. We also work toward developing new technologies in order to further serve your needs, become more technically savvy, and stay on the forefront of discovery. Our services are available to all campus investigators, as well as other academic and commercial collaborators, with average turn-around times of less than one business week.

Our genomics core facility also offers the latest platforms from Applied Biosystems, including the 3130xl Genetic Analyzer, the 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System, and the 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR system. Our laboratory is designed for high-quality, high-throughput processing of samples for DNA sequencing, fragment analysis, SNP analysis, reverse transcription, and real-time PCR. We provide full services tailored to each researchers’ needs.
