The continuing medical education (CME) team at Memorial University Medical Center is committed to developing, implementing, and evaluating quality educational programs to assist physicians, pharmacists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals. We recognize that ongoing education is necessary to improve patient safety, enhance clinical outcomes, and advance scientific knowledge.
Our CME programs are open to our medical staff as well as regional, national, and international participants.
Planning a CME Program
Planning a certified CME activity requires navigating through guidelines, licensing requirements, commercial support regulations, and institutional policies. Our CME team is here to help you through the process. Together, we will ensure that your activity is successful, timely, and of the highest quality.
Policies and Procedures
CME Committee Meetings
Our CME committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month to review proposed activities. The meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. in Conference Room A at Memorial University Medical Center. Applications for CME should be submitted at least two months prior to the occurrence date. All regularly scheduled series (RSS) activities, such as tumor boards and morbidity and mortality meetings, must be reviewed annually.
