 The family medicine faculty and residents have an active but not overwhelming social calendar. The residents and their families are invited to several residency sponsored events throughout the year.

- Holiday dinner cruise and clinic holiday party
- Curriculum retreat -- spring
- Family Medicine Center’s Spring Fling
- Graduation ceremony in June
Activities of local interest include annual music and film festivals, Shakespeare in the Park and Arts in the Park, the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade (one of the largest in the country), Savannah Sand Gnats baseball games (our local minor league baseball team), and much more.
