United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), steps 1 and 2 must be passed on the first attempt, however there is no minimum score.
Your application should include detailed information about activities since graduation. Clinical experience in the United States is not required, but is considered helpful. Permanent residency in the United States is required.
If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted via e-mail to schedule a date for your interview. Be sure to include your e-mail address as part of your ERAS application.
Once an interview is scheduled, you will be sent a confirmation letter via e-mail. On the night before your interview, we will provide hotel accommodations for you at the Courtyard Marriott in Savannah. You should plan to arrive in Savannah by 6 p.m. so that you are able to have dinner with some of our residents.
Approximately 100 applicants are invited for interviews each year from mid-October through January. All candidates are selected through the National Residency Matching Program.
