We offer a number of social activities throughout the year
to allow our residents to relax, enjoy themselves, and get to know one
another. Some of the activities we host include:
- Welcome picnic in Telfair Square, one of the Landmark Historic District squares
- Holiday party
- Resident Research Day reception
- Internal medicine residency awards and recognition banquet
- June resident graduation ceremony and reception
Sporting Events
- Intramural softball and soccer
- Ocean kayaking
- Cycling/running/triathlons, including local Memorial Tybee Island Marathon in February
- Golf
- Beach
- Minor-league baseball team, the Savannah Sand Gnats
