Our department only accepts applications through the Electronic
Residency Application Service (ERAS). We will begin accepting applications
for the 2007-2008 year on September 1, 2007. The deadline for
applications is December 1, 2007.
A complete application consists of the following:
- Common application form
- Personal statement
- Dean's letter
- Transcript from your medical school
- USMLE Step 1 and 2 scores (when available)
- Four letters of recommendation
All applications are carefully reviewed. If you are selected for
an interview, we will send you an e-mail asking you to contact Nancy
Manley, program coordinator, to schedule your interview. Interviews
will be scheduled on Fridays beginning November 9, 2007.
Once an interview is scheduled, you will be sent a confirmation letter. On the night before your interview, we will provide hotel accommodations for you at the Courtyard Marriott in Savannah. You should plan to arrive in Savannah by 6 p.m. so that you are able to have dinner with some of our residents.
