Patient Satisfaction

  • We partner with Press Ganey Associates to measure the satisfaction level of our patients.

    A sample of our patients is surveyed after they leave Memorial University Medical Center. They answer questions about their experience using a scale of "very poor" to "very good." The scores on this site reflect the percentage of patients who gave us a “very good” rating. This is the rating we strive to receive every time.

    Our scores are then compared to the scores of 800 similar hospitals in the Press Ganey database. You can see our scores here: 

    • Inpatient (people who are admitted to the hospital and stay overnight for any length of time)
    • Outpatient (people who go to the hospital for a specific procedure and return home after the procedure)
    • Emergency Department (people who receive urgent medical care in our emergency department)
    • Ambulatory Surgery (people who have surgery and return home the same day, without staying overnight in the hospital)
