Services
Gynecologic oncology involves the care and treatment of pre-malignant and
malignant gynecologic diseases. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to
treatment, meaning we work with numerous other specialists -- from dietitians
to other physicians -- to create a comprehensive treatment plan. Treatment may
include surgery such as a radical hysterectomy, pelvic exenteration, urinary
diversions, bowel surgery, or related services.
Some of our specialized services include:
-
Evaluation and treatment of abnormal Pap smears
-
Colposcopy and treatment of dysplasia of the cervix, vagina, and vulva
-
Evaluation of ovarian cysts and masses
-
Gynecological pathology consultations
-
Evaluation and treatment of post-menopausal bleeding
-
Treatment of all gynecologic cancers such as ovarian, endometrial, uterine,
cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and gestational trophoblastic disease
-
Complex pelvic surgical procedures for benign reasons
-
Enrollment in National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials for cutting
edge cancer treatment
