Gynecologic oncology involves the care and treatment of pre-malignant and malignant gynecologic diseases. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment, meaning we work with numerous other specialists -- from dietitians to other physicians -- to create a comprehensive treatment plan. Treatment may include surgery such as a radical hysterectomy, pelvic exenteration, urinary diversions, bowel surgery, or related services.

Some of our specialized services include:

• Evaluation and treatment of abnormal Pap smears
• Colposcopy and treatment of dysplasia of the cervix, vagina, and vulva
• Evaluation of ovarian cysts and masses
• Gynecological pathology consultations
• Evaluation and treatment of post-menopausal bleeding
• Treatment of all gynecologic cancers such as ovarian, endometrial, uterine, cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and gestational trophoblastic disease
• Complex pelvic surgical procedures for benign reasons
• Enrollment in National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials for cutting edge cancer treatment
