 Outpatient rehabilitation is for people who do not need to
be hospitalized while receiving rehabilitation. They travel to The Rehabilitation
Institute each day for therapy and return home at the end of the
day. All patients must have a physician's referral in order to participate
in outpatient therapy. Each person is evaluated individually and receives a customized treatment plan. Our
primary goal is to help people return to a healthy and fully functional
lifestyle. Rehabilitation is an active process that requires hard work,
patience, and determination.
Family members are an important part of the process and encouraged to be involved and provide support for the person in rehabilitation.
Outpatient services are offered Monday through Friday from
7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. To reach our scheduling hotline, dial 912-350-7128.

at Memorial University Medical Center, outpatient services
