The Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial University Medical Center offers comprehensive outpatient therapy services
for the treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence, vaginal
and chronic pelvic pain, osteoporosis, pregnancy-related pain and dysfunction,
and
breast surgery pain and dysfunction.
Upon referral from a physician, patients receive services from
a licensed, specially trained physical therapist. Those services include customized exercises, bowel/bladder
training and education, Kegel exercise instruction and practice, manual
therapy techniques, ultrasound, biofeedback, electrical stimulation,
and pressure manometry.
