Memorial Health University Physicians -- SCAD Student Health Center
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Student Health Center is located at 300 Bull Street, Suite 102, in Savannah. It is operated by Memorial Health University Physicians (MHUP).
Registration Forms - Please complete before the initial visit to the Student Health Center.
The Student Health Center provides routine healthcare. We also perform lab work and Pap smears, but they must be scheduled in advance. If we are unable to meet your healthcare needs, we will refer you to another healthcare provider.
We will bill your insurance company if you have your insurance card and/or paperwork with you. If you choose to pay for your visit on your own, the cost is $45 per office visit. SCAD students receive a 50 percent discount on labs. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and SCAD cards.
Hours of Operation
Please note that our extended hours of operation are suspended during the summer quarter. From June 1 through September 16, the Student Health Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The extended hours below will resume on September 16.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, scheduled appointments and walk-ins from 8:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Walk-in patients from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday and Friday, scheduled and walk-in appointments, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Allergy injections, every Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted, but scheduling an appointment may minimize your wait time.
Our office is closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. every day.
Please note that walk-in appointments may be cut off early if there is a large number of students waiting to be seen. If walk-in hours are shortened, students will be given the option of scheduling an appointment for the next business day.
