SeniorCare Program
Our SeniorCare program is unique to this area as it is the only psychiatric program dedicated to the geriatric population. The SeniorCare program is an acute, short-term program for patients aged 65 and older in need of a secure, therapeutic environment 24-hours a day. Our program is designed to return patients to their optimal levels of functioning outside the hospital. We accomplish this through an intensive, structured, physician-supervised program that coordinates seamlessly with the patient's existing medical care.

The program utilizes a cognitive-behavioral and skills-training therapeutic approach. The IOP program is not suitable for people who have an active disruptive thought disorder, organic brain deterioration such as dementia, or primary chemical dependency without mental illness.
