Memorial University Medical Center's SportsOne program works with athletes to treat and prevent sports-related
injuries. The SportsOne team includes certified athletic
trainers and physical therapists. We also have an outreach program in which we provide athletic trainers on-site for local high school, college, professional, and community
sports events. |
The trainer is able to:
- Refer injured athletes to the proper medical care
- Assist athletes through the process of X-rays,
bone scans, operations, and physical therapy
- Work with athletes, their families, and coaches to get the best possible
treatment
- Provide free treatment for minor injuries on-site
