Memorial Sports Medicine works with athletes to treat and prevent sports-related injuries. Our sports medicine team includes certified athletic trainers and physical therapists. We also have an outreach program in which we provide athletic trainers on site for local high school, college, professional, and community sports events.
Each trainer is able to:
- Refer injured athletes to the proper medical care
- Assist athletes through the process of X-rays, bone scans, operations, and physical therapy
- Work with athletes, their families, and coaches to get the best possible treatment
- Provide treatment for minor injuries on site at sporting events
