The patient (or guardian if the patient is a minor) is responsible for all costs incurred during surgery. You may receive separate bills for various services provided. For example, you may receive one bill from the anesthesiologist for his services and a separate bill from the surgeon for her services. If your surgery is elective, a down payment may be required before the surgery is performed.
