Newborn Nursery
 Our newborn nursery is staffed around-the-clock by
a team of nurses who specialize in newborn care. You may choose to keep
your baby
with you in your room throughout your stay, or, if you need
some time alone, we will care for your baby in our nursery. At various
times throughout your baby’s stay, he or she will be taken
to the nursery for tests or check-ups. Our nursery is highly
secure. Only people with proper identification are allowed inside.
Your baby
must be transported to and from the nursery in a wheeled bassinet
by a Memorial Health Team Member who has special credentials
that allow him or her to handle newborns. |
