Newborn Hearing Screenings
At the Women's Health Institute at Memorial
Health University Medical Center, we provide
newborn hearing screenings as part of our routine care. The Universal
Infant Hearing
Screening Program is designed to identify any hearing problem.
Screening is simple and painless (most newborns sleep right through
it) and takes
about 10 minutes. The Pediatrix Medical Group staff does the testing
shortly after birth and discusses the results with you immediately
following the test. |
