The patient (or guardian if the patient is a minor) is responsible for all costs incurred during surgery. You may receive separate bills for various services provided. For example, you may receive one bill from the anesthesiologist for his services and a separate bill from the surgeon for her services. If you have questions about the bill you receive from Memorial University Medical Center, please call 912-350-8667.
If your surgery is elective, a down payment may be required before the surgery is performed.
Please contact your insurance provider before your procedure to make sure you fully understand what your financial obligations will be.
