Jacqueline (Jackie) H. Rabinowitz joined the Board of Directors in 2012 as a representative of the Memorial Health Foundation. Rabinowitz has been on the foundation’s board since 2006 and took over the role of chair of the Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees in 2012.
Rabinowitz spent 20 years working in the food service industry. In 1999, she retired as vice president of food service for the Baskin Robbins Company. She and her husband, Stephen, moved from their native Cincinnati to Savannah following his retirement in 2001.
Rabinowitz has always been an active supporter of community and cultural endeavors. She chaired the annual Opera Ball and led corporate fundraising efforts for the Cincinnati Opera. She was also a board member of Dominican Community Services/Visions, a support organization for unwed teenage mothers.
In Savannah, Rabinowitz has served on the board of the Savannah Music Festival and Telfair Museum.
