Our shoulder replacement surgeons treat a number of injuries and ailments, including arthritis, fractures and severe rotator cuff tears. This procedure may be useful if simple activities become increasingly difficult, or if you experience discomfort even while resting.
Postoperative physical therapy for joint replacement
During the rehabilitation phase of your care, specially trained physical therapists and occupational therapists collaborate on your care to increase your strength through exercise and daily routine practice. Lasting multiple weeks, our outpatient rehabilitation services will be available to you very soon after your surgery.
Presurgical classes
Two weeks prior to your surgery, you may attend an education class for total shoulder replacement to help prepare you for your surgery and recovery. In this free session, we will discuss the following topics:
