Genomics Core Lab

  • The Genomics Core Facility at the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center provides Affymetrix GeneChip® technology for running micorarray experiments and analyses. We can prepare and process 3’ Gene Expression, 500K genotyping (SNPs), Exon/Gene, and tiling arrays. Our services are available to all campus investigators, as well as other academic and commercial collaborators, with average turn-around times of less than one week.

    Our genomics core facility also offers platforms from Applied Biosystems, including the 3130xl Genetic Analyzer, the 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System, and the 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR system. Our laboratory is designed for high-quality, high-throughput processing of samples for DNA sequencing, fragment analysis, SNP analysis, reverse transcription, and real-time PCR. We provide full services tailored to each researcher's needs.
