    Lab appointments begin at 7:30 a.m. Office appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dr. Fabrizio sees patients Tuesday through Thursday. Call 912-897-3766 to request an appointment.

    Our office is located at 1001 Memorial Lane on Whitemarsh Island in Savannah, Georgia.

    Dr. Stephens offers an outreach clinic for rheumatology patients in the Memorial Physicians’ Office, located at 23630 Highway 80 East, Unit B, in Statesboro. Call 912-897-3766 to make an appointment.

    Meet Our Team

  • Susan Catalan, M.D., is board certified in family medicine. A graduate of Cebu Doctors’ University College of Medicine in the Philippines, she completed her residency training at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. She sees adolescent and adult patients.

    Adrienne Fabrizio, M.D., is a native of South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital and is board certified in internal medicine. She has a special interest in treating young adults and patients with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

    Christopher Garner, M.D., graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Greenville Health System Internal Medicine Residency Program in South Carolina. He sees adult patients (18 and older) for a variety of illnesses as well as chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

    Marilyn Lavallee, M.D., grew up in Canada and earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. She completed her residency at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. She is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Lavallee is fluent in French and English.

    Dean H. Stephens, M.D., earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed an internal medicine residency and a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Vermont in Burlington. He is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. He specializes in treating patients with diseases that affect their joints and muscles, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus.

    Lauren Culbreth-Cohn, N.P., is an adult nurse practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She joined the Memorial Health team in 2007. At MHUP -- Islands, she primarily sees sick patients who request a same-day appointment and she handles follow-up appointments for the physicians.
