Microarray Service Guidelines

    1. If you would like to carry out Affymetrix GeneChip® Arrays, please contact us via e-mail and be sure to provide your phone number. This allows us to get back to you quickly. All experimental logistics need to be worked out at least a couple of weeks in advance in order to address any questions, issues, or concerns you might have about GeneChip pricing, target preparations and processing fees, the number of samples/replicates desired, scheduling your experiment, and the tentative completion date. We offer both full and partial services:

    2. You will receive a detailed quote for the services you have requested. After a purchase order number is assigned to your experiment, arrangements will be made for you to send your samples to our facility on dry ice. Please ship all products between Sunday and Thursday, and over-night them. We are not liable for packages that arrive late Friday and sit unattended over the weekend.

    3. When we receive your samples, we store them immediately at -80ºC in order to prevent sample breakdown. We will notify you that we have received your samples. We will also notify you if your samples arrive damaged or if their quality has been diminished in any way during transfer.

    4. All sample and experimental problems that arise are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for further details regarding rare and unusual circumstances.
