    Libby H. Malphrus, M.S., CGC
    Genetic Counselor

    received her master’s degree in genetic counseling from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She was certified through the American Board of Genetic Counseling and has been a frequent guest lecturer, focusing on prenatal testing and ultrasound abnormalities. She created a pilot program with MUMC and Mercer University School of Medicine to present monthly genetics lectures to obstetrics and gynecology residents, medical students, and faculty. She is a cervical cancer survivor and founder of a nonprofit organization, Help the Hoo-Hahs, for women battling gynecologic cancers.
