Patient Outcomes

  • We submit our outcomes data to eRehabData®, a service provided by the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association. The information below is based on patient outcomes in 2012. Each table shows how our outcomes compare to similar facilities nationwide.

Note that in every service area, our patients are transferred to us and begin treatment sooner than the national average. We believe it is important for people to begin rehabilitation therapy as quickly as possible. Because Memorial University Medical Center houses the region’s only Level 1 trauma center, we are able to ensure the best medical care and a smooth transfer to rehabilitation.

We are very proud of the fact that in every service area, our patients’ ability to return home (versus going to long-term care) is higher than the national average. This is one of the most significant goals our patients voice at admission – they want to return to a home environment.
