• DixonI invite you to explore our beautiful coastal city and our dynamic teaching program. At Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., we blend the best of academic radiology with the practical experience of a private-practice environment. Memorial University Medical Center is southeast Georgia's only Level One trauma center and is also a tertiary referral center for parts of Georgia and South Carolina. Some of the most skilled doctors in the country practice at this hospital. We have specialists in trauma surgery, critical care medicine, neurosurgery, high-risk obstetrics, and pulmonary medicine, just to name a few. In addition, The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center is a tertiary referral center with a dedicated pediatric surgery team and physicians trained in pediatric intensive care, pulmonology, neurology, infectious disease, neonatology, and radiology.

Our residents are exposed to a wide variety of cases from newborn to geriatric populations. Participation in our multidisciplinary conferences with surgery, internal medicine, and pediatrics provides valuable interaction that's necessary in the field of diagnostic radiology.

Memorial University Medical Center is a major teaching center for the Medical College of Georgia and serves as the Savannah campus for Mercer University School of Medicine. Medical students and residents from every major specialty train in this hospital. This provides a unique mix of academic radiology with practical experience that is difficult to find in other residency programs.
