  • The expert doctors at Memorial Health University Physicians – Savannah Center for Respiratory, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine perform the following procedures:

    • Pulmonary function testing
    • Bronchoscopy (a test to view the airways and diagnose lung disease)
    • Endoscopic bronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
    • Interventional bronchoscopy with laser
    • Thoracentesis (a procedure to remove fluid from the space between the lungs and the chest wall)
    • Cardiopulmonary exercise testing
    • Sleep study evaluation
    • Electrosurgery and stent placement

    We provide inpatient and outpatient consultations. In addition, Memorial Health University Physicians – Savannah Center for Respiratory, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine oversees the Sleep Disorders Center at Memorial University Medical Center, a complete sleep testing laboratory.
