Memorial Health Meadows hospital announces Abby Bray as vice president of operations

Abby Bray, MHA, has joined Memorial Health Meadows Hospital as vice president of operations, bringing a strong background in strategic planning, operational performance, and healthcare leadership.

Vidalia, Ga. — Memorial Health Meadows Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Abby Bray, MHA, as the hospital’s new Vice President of Operations. Abby officially begins her role on February 2, bringing with her a strong background in healthcare strategy, operational leadership, and growth planning across multiple markets.

Abby joins Memorial Health Meadows Hospital from the HCA South Atlantic Division, where she most recently served as Director of Strategy and Business Development. In this role, she supported strategic planning and analytics efforts across 12 hospitals spanning Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Her work included market analysis, service line growth planning, and securing funding for multiple freestanding emergency departments and major capital initiatives.

Wesley Taylor, FACHE, CPPS, Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. “Her experience working across complex healthcare systems, combined with her collaborative leadership style, will be an asset as we continue to strengthen operations and expand access to care for our community.”

Prior to joining HCA Healthcare, Abby held progressive leadership roles with HighPoint Health in Tennessee and Premier Health in Ohio, where she supported physician services, practice operations, and system-wide performance initiatives. She also completed an Administrative Residency with the HCA-owned Tulane Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana, gaining hands-on experience in hospital operations, finance, and process improvement. 

Abby holds a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Kentucky.

Abby and her husband, Dalton, are relocating to Vidalia and look forward to becoming active members of the community.
