Matthew Ochsner, MD

As a Savannah native, Dr. Matthew Ochsner is truly grateful for the opportunity to provide care to patients in the community that raised him. He is Fellowship trained in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, Advanced Endocrine Surgery, Robotic Surgery, and Open/Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery.

Dr. Ochsner is honored as a 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctor, representing the top 7% of all U.S. practicing physicians.

As a Savannah native, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to provide care to patients in my community, and for the chance to raise my family in the city I love. After many years of surgical training at Emory University and the University of Miami, I am excited to provide comprehensive surgical care of patients with cancerous and non-cancerous tumors of the head and neck, including microvascular reconstruction. I will bring expertise in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, minimally invasive and cosmetic approaches to parotid tumors, and transoral robotic surgery for tumors of the throat, tonsils, and tongue base. I look forward to joining exceptional colleagues at Memorial and working with a head and neck multidisciplinary team which evaluates and develops a treatment plan for all new head and neck cancer patients.
