ENT treatments we offer

Our specialists diagnose and treat common conditions and complex diseases affecting the face and upper extremities.

Balloon sinuplasty

We provide this minimally invasive, outpatient procedure to help your sinuses drain properly. Our physicians use a catheter to insert and inflate a tiny balloon that opens blocked paths.

Ear tube surgery

Many children and some adults suffering from painful ear infections benefit from surgery. In bilateral myringotomy and tubes (BM&T), small plastic tubes are paced across ear drums to provide proper ventilation and help prevent infections. These tubes either fall out on their own over time or are surgically removed.

Neck mass removal

If you have a lump or mass in your neck, having it evaluated is critical. Our doctors generally use advanced imaging and biopsies to determine the nature of the mass and decide if treatment will be needed.

Parathyroidectomy

This outpatient surgery is used to remove swollen parathyroid glands. These glands create a hormone that helps control your body’s calcium level but can become problematic if they enlarge and produce unhealthy amounts of the hormone.

Parotidectomy

If a mass develops on your parotid gland, the largest of your mouth’s salivary glands, it needs to be removed. If you undergo a parotidectomy, you can typically return home on the same day as the procedure.

Septoplasty or turbinectomy

This nasal surgery is most often used to straighten a deviated septum, which causes your nasal passages to become crooked and restrict breathing. This procedure can dramatically improve your breathing and usually takes just an hour to perform.

Sinusitis treatment

If you’re experiencing symptoms like nasal congestion, headaches and facial pain, we offer several options for relief. If sinusitis is the cause, initial treatment may include antibiotics, steroids and irrigation. In severe cases, surgery may be recommended for heavily blocked sinuses.

Sleep apnea care

We treat and help recognize symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea, which may cause you to temporarily stop breathing while sleeping. If the ensuing lack of oxygen continues, it can lead to serious cardiovascular issues.

Thyroidectomy

This type of surgery involves total or partial removal of your thyroid gland. It is a common procedure used to help treat overactive thyroids, thyroid cancer and noncancerous enlargements of the thyroid.

Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

Our otolaryngologists perform two common removal procedures that aid in the prevention of frequent sore throats and ear infections. Children are the most common recipients of these surgical treatments. If your doctor recommends your tonsils be removed, you will undergo a tonsillectomy. You will need to schedule an adenoidectomy if your adenoids must be removed.

Pediatric ENT care

A variety of ear, nose and throat disorders affect kids, such as earaches and chronic congestion. We’re experienced at treating pediatric conditions, including tonsillitis, sinusitis and ear infections, by using the latest medical guidelines and techniques.
