About us

Since opening our doors in 1955, we have been committed to delivering quality healthcare services to our community, providing treatment for both routine and complex medical conditions.

About Memorial Health University Medical Center

We have proudly served the Savannah, Georgia, community since 1955. Our campus treats adults and children alike, with specialized departments that include our dedicated children's hospital and birthing center.

The region's preferred healthcare hub

With dedicated programs and diverse specialists, our team provides personalized medical services for individuals of all ages throughout Southeast Georgia.

Features of our facility

With over 700 hospital beds, our doctors are able to provide essential inpatient care for those in need. Our compassionate approach to care defines our available patient offerings, and that extends to religious and volunteer services as well.

Spiritual support

We understand that experiencing health concerns can be challenging for everyone involved. At our facility, we give patients and their family and friends access to on-site spiritual care. If coping with an illness or injury becomes too much to handle on your own, we are here to offer emotional support.

Volunteer program

At our hospital, our mission has always been rooted in going above and beyond to provide the best possible care. However, we can't do it all alone. Our volunteer program allows you to give back to the community by following our lead.

Our leadership

Our hospital leadership teams are dedicated to continually improving our services, abilities and safety practices. They ensure our patients and our communities get access to the high-quality care they need and deserve.
