Breast reconstructive surgery
Our plastic surgery team specializes in multiple forms of breast surgery. Following a mastectomy during breast cancer treatment, which removes one or both of your breasts, you may undergo breast reconstructive surgery. Using complex microsurgery, our surgeons can rebuild natural-looking breasts that closely match the form, appearance and symmetry of the natural breast.
We also perform breast augmentation, or mammaplasty, to change the appearance of the breasts. This may include inserting breast implants, removing breast implants, performing breast reductions or lifts. Breast augmentation is a cosmetic, often elective, procedure that requires major surgery and the skills of a plastic surgeon.
