Memorial Health welcomes new head and neck specialist

Dr. Miranda Horton will treat ear, nose and throat issues in both adults and children.

Memorial Health is excited to welcome Dr. Miranda C. Horton as the facility’s newest head and neck surgeon. 

Dr. Horton is a board-certified otolaryngologic surgeon providing treatment to both pediatric and adult patients for a variety of ear, nose, and throat-related conditions, including chronic and recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, nasal congestion, chronic sinus infections, and obstructive sleep apnea. After pursuing her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, she completed a residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.    

“I aim at making my patients feel informed, supported, and empowered to pursue the care that is right for them” says Dr. Horton. “I treat them as if they were my own family members seeking answers to their complex medical conditions.”

Dr. Miranda C. Horton grew up on a horse ranch outside of Dallas, TX and completed her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology through the Dean’s Scholars Honors Program.
